We use your personal information to: match you with suitable career programs, internships, and employment opportunities; facilitate introductions between candidates and employers; communicate with you about your application, program progress, and our services; improve our programs and website experience; comply with legal obligations; and send you relevant career resources and updates (with your consent). We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform: Vercel for website hosting and delivery; and analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site. These services may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum information necessary for each service to function.
4. Sharing with Employers & Partners
When you apply for a program or placement, we may share your profile, resume, and relevant details with host companies and employers for the purpose of facilitating internship placements, job matching, and employer introductions. We may also share information with education providers where relevant to your enrolment or academic credit requirements. All partners are required to handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as you are actively participating in our programs or services. After your program concludes, we retain your records for a reasonable period to facilitate alumni services and employer references. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@basecase.com.au, and we will action your request within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations requiring us to retain certain records.
